Managing Devices
- Manage Charging of Devices
- Prepare unique Device Check-out Logs for each device.
- Device Check-out:
- Complete NCFCA Device Checkout Log for the designated device.
- Tech will complete the following line items at checkout: “Checked Out NCFCA Staff (initials)”, “Date Checked Out”, and “Time Checked Out”.
- CJ will complete “Name of Judge”, “Phone Number of Judge”, and “Signature of Judge”
- Place the log in a folder designated “Checked Out Devices”
- Introduce the Community Judge to a Judge Support member to have them walk through platform checking and ballot selection.
- Complete NCFCA Device Checkout Log for the designated device.
- Device Returns:
- Locate the log in the “Checked Out Devices” Folder
- Complete the following line items: “Time Returned”, “Date Returned”, “Checked in by NCFCA Staff (initials)
- Clean and prepare the returned devices for the next judge
- Log out previous judge
- Clear cache in browser
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More .
- Click settings. Clear browsing data.
- At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
- Click Clear data.
- Check “reset” box on check-out log
- Place Check-out Log in device and plug in device to charge for next user.
- Thank the CJ for taking the time to judge.
