Judge Support Roles

Judge Support Lead (JSL)

The JS Lead will be the point of contact for correspondence between the Region Coordinator (RC), other department Leads, and the Judge Support Team. The JS Lead will monitor the Judge Hospitality room for judge needs and encourage confidentiality and limited discussion about the rounds judged. The JSL will supervise the Judge Support Team as they carry out the following responsibilities: 

Assist Judges

Depending on the size of the tournament/number of community judges, between two and five team members will be working with judges to ensure that the judges are equipped to judge the round and are successful at selecting, completing, and submitting their ballots. The JS will provide technical support to our community judges having trouble using the platform. 

Device Management

One person will be assigned throughout the day to manage and maintain the NCFCA devices. This person will also monitor and respond to the Message Dashboard.

Answer Tournament Chats

Monitor the Chat screen to answer or reassign chats as needed.
