Rule Questions
Late Entry - Competitors may enter up to 2 mins prior to their draw time. If the competitor enters after the posted Draw Time he forfeits any of the time that has elapsed. End Time for each room slot is locked-in and cannot be moved due to late draw start.
Reporting Rule violations
Any rule violations or potential rule violations should be reported to Compliance in round
The Extemp Team is not responsible for enforcing rule compliance, only for reporting violations
Urgent In-round questions are directed to the Regional Coordinator
Non-Urgent questions can be emailed to Martha Sutton or asked in the Extemp Prep Team Chat Space
The Extemp Team should not provide any materials to competitors (cards, pens, power strips, extension cords, etc)
The Extemp Team should not answer rule related questions that the competitors might have, it is their responsibility to know the rules prior to the round
The Extemp Team should not assist students with any technical questions
The Extemp Team should avoid any action that could be considered “giving preference or advantage” to one competitor over another
