Compliance

A training resource for Teams and Leads

Understanding the Team Dashboard

Accessing the Team Dashboard

  • Make sure that you’re checked into the tournament and that your NCFCA MyPlace account is in order.
  • Log into NCFCA Staff with the same email and password as your MyPlace account. Enter the tournament from the Competition menu by selecting the region and tournament name.

Documenting, Applying Penalties, and Concluding a CQR

Documenting: The CT and the CL should review Actions Taken on the Compliance Dashboard to ensure all relevant Notes have been added.

  • Aim for accurate, succinct summaries.
  • Include CT initials and times when possible or applicable for a full picture.
  • The CL should ask the RCC to review the documentation.

Applying penalties: The Compliance Lead or Assistant will select any applicable penalties and change the CQR status to Pending Penalty.

  • The Compliance Lead or Assistant will review CQRs to ensure Tab has toggled Adjustment Complete for any penalties and will then toggle Adjustment Confirmed.
  • New Protocol: Multiple penalties may be applied within one CQR.
  • The Compliance Lead will work with the Tab Lead to ensure that all penalties are reported and each event is clear of issues before each elimination round and before awards.

Concluding a CQR: The Compliance Lead or Assistant will change the status of the CQR to Closed/Complete after confirming final communication with the family is completed.

  • If a CQR has a requirement from NAT for a script to be resubmitted before it can continue in competition, the Compliance Lead should leave the CQR open until the script has been received by the RC.
  • Note: Changing the CQR status to Closed/Complete will permanently move it to the closed section of NCFCA Admin. It may still be edited and updated, but it will not appear in the open CQR log. In the event it becomes necessary to move a closed CQR back into the open log, teams will need to initiate a new CQR and reference the prior CQR# in Notes.

  • When the meeting is over, uninvite participants and delete the meeting.
