Comms Online

This course equips NCFCA Online Communications Lead and Team members with the tools, knowledge, and procedures to ensure efficient, professional online tournament communication. It includes expectations, safety training, technical setup, protocols, and troubleshooting.

Communications Team Member Role

  • The Communications team serves as the eyes and ears in competition rooms during the tournament. Our job is to monitor room progress and report any issues that arise, but we are NOT the decision makers. We provide help with some frequently encountered issues, limited help with tech troubleshooting, and background support for tournament leadership.

 

Safety Protocol & Training

  • Watch required video(s) on abuse prevention/child safety.
  • Read and sign the NCFCA Safety Policy Acknowledgement.
  • Help enforce the “More than Two Rule”
