What to Expect at a Tournament
Information: Find out about Specific Tournaments
To find information about specific tournaments, log into MyPlace.NCFCA.org.
In the menu on the left, tap Tournaments and note the filters at the top and the tournament list below.
Select
- Tournament Registration to view or register for tournaments.
- My Upcoming Tournaments to view upcoming tournaments for which you are registered.
- My Past Tournaments for completed tournaments your family participated in.
Filter the tournament list by
- Toggling Online Only or
- Using the dropdown menu to select a certain Region or State.
Then, from the tournament list, you can Enter the tournament and use the menu on the left to find Information, including tournament dates and location, registration request closing date, the late registration window, and the check-In and competitor script submission date.
The Community Judge option is not for competing families. It enables volunteer community judges to register and pick a time slot for judging.
In Registration, select events, partners, and clubs for the tournament. See the menu and order tournament meals in Meals.
Schedule and Postings has the tournament schedule and, once the tournament is underway, updates the actual start times for each round and links to the postings, a list of matches for debate events, speaker order and speak time for speech events, and competition room assignments for competitors.
Resources contain a curated list of materials for students, judges, and parents to access during a tournament.
